High Potency DietsHigh Potency Diets
These are the recommended diets if: You are converting from a seed based diet;
You have a young bird;
Your bird is moulting or has poor feather quality;
To bring your bird into breeding condition and throughout the breeding season;
Your bird is recovering from illness;
You own an African Grey, large Macaw, or Palm or Moluccan Cockatoo as these birds do better on this diet;
Your vet advises use of this formula for medical reasons.
Adult Lifetime DietsAdult Lifetime Diets
You should select Adult Lifetime Formula if:
- Your bird has been eating Harrison’s Bird Food for 6 months and is not one of the breeds requiring High Potency (see adjacent)
- You have a diabetic bird or one which suffers from chronic egg laying (particularly cockatiels)
- Your vet advises the use of this formula.
